玉珠措姆，研究员，博士生导师，国际藏学会理事。哈佛大学藏学博士，研究领域为汉藏关系史、藏族史，尤其关注康藏史、康藏社会研究以及汉藏边境的文化互动与交融。先后出版有《瞻对的“独眼龙”勇士：工布朗结在康区的兴起》（英文）、《土司、喇嘛与勇士：康区历史，1904-1961年》（英文）等学术专著，在《中山大学学报》《中国藏学》《藏学学刊》《广西民大学报》《民族学刊》《伦敦大学亚非学院学报》《亚洲研究杂志》《现代中国》《中国季刊》等有关藏学研究和中国史研究的主要杂志上发表近40余篇汉文、英文、藏文论文。


Dr. Yudru Tsomu earned her PhD from Harvard University in Tibetan studies in 2006 and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University in 2007. After joining the Center for Tibetan Studies in 2013 as an associate professor, she assumed the role of professor in 2019. Her primary academic interests concern Sino-Tibetan relations and Tibetan history, with a particular focus on the history of Kham, the study of Tibetan society in Kham, and cultural interactions in the Sino-Tibetan borderlands. Her books, Blind Warrior of Nyarong: The Rise of Gönpo Namgyel in Kham and Chieftains, Lamas, and Warriors: A History of Kham,1904-1961, were published by Lexington Books in 2014 and 2024 respectively. Additionally, she has authored articles exploring the construction of images of Eastern Tibet (Kham) by intellectuals during the Republican Period (1912–1949), Guozhuang Trading Houses, the activities of Tibetan middlemen in Dartsedo (Kangding), and also the role of women as chieftains in modern Kham history. She currently serves as a board member of the International Association for Tibetan Studies.
