杨明洪，教授、博士生导师。研究方向为西藏经济社会发展。目前主要关注西藏农村发展问题、西藏与四省藏区协调发展问题、援藏问题研究等方面。发表论文 100 余篇、独立出版了学术专著 14 部，主编教材 1 部。主持国家社会科学基金 5 项（其中重大项目 1 项），国家自然科学基金 3项，教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地重大招标项目2项，其他项目 20 余项。获四川省政府颁发的科研成果二等奖3 项、三等奖 6 项，先后获四川省优秀博士后和四川省有突出贡献的优秀专家，入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划和四川省学术和技术带头人等荣誉称号。担任民建四川省委副主委、四川省政协常委。

Prof. Yang is currently the Executive Director of the Faculty of Social Development and Western China Development Studies at SCU. He received his BA (History), MA (History) and PhD (Economics) from Sichuan University. He has been a visiting scholar at many academic institutions and university including the Nordic Institute of Asian Studies at the University of Copenhagen, the Institute of International Development Studies at Roskilde University, and Queen’s College at the City University of New York.

His field of research is Tibetan economic and social development. Currently he mainly focuses on the development issues of countryside in Tibet, the issues concerning the coordinated development of Tibet Autonomous Region and Tibetan areas in four neighboring provinces as well as Issues of Aiding-Tibet, etc. He has published over one hundred articles and fourteen monographs. He has been in charge of several projects sponsored by the National Social Science Fund, National Natural Science Fund and MOE. In recognition of his research achievement, he has earned three second-prize awards and six third-prize awards issued by the Sichuan Provincial government, and he has been awarded with such honors and titles as “excellent postdoctoral fellow of Sichuan Province” and “excellent specialist with outstanding contribution of Sichuan Province.” He also serves the deputy director of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of China Democratic National Construction Association and the standing member of the Sichuan Provincial People’s Consultative Conference.
