陈波，教授，博士生导师。2004年博士毕业于北京大学社会学人类学研究所，现就职于四川大学中国藏学研究所、历史文化学院世界史系。曾先后于美国北卡大学（UNC at Chapel Hill）、杜克大学（Duke University）、尼泊尔特里布文大学（Tribhuvan University）、美国哈佛-燕京学社（Harvard-Yenching Institute）、英国伦敦政治经济学院（LSE）人类学系做访问学者长达四年；2017年秋期于北京大学文研院驻所研究。一直从事社会-文化人类学的教学与研究，现任四川大学人类学研究所所长；发起和举办纪念人类学家李安宅先生的“李安宅讲座”和“李安宅纪念讲座”。懂藏语拉萨方言，会藏文读写；主要研究专长为藏学人类学及其学术史，在拉萨、康区等地长期从事实地研究；亦涉及域外研究，内容包括美国杜克大学、尼泊尔洛域、欧洲的中国观研究等。出版专著五部，译著两部，中英文论文数十篇。

Dr. Chen Bo received his Ph.D. from Peking University in 2004. He is a specialist in the anthropology of Tibetan civilizations/cultures/societies. He speaks Lhasa dialect and reads Tibetan. He currently serves as the director of the Institute of Anthropology at SCU. He has conducted long-term fieldwork in Kham, in the suburb of Lhasa, China and in Nepal. His research interests include kinship/marriage, house, social network, history, and civilization. He published Reproducing Shambhala (2009); Li Anzhai and the Huaxi School of Anthropology (2010); Between Mountains and Rivers: A Field Study of Lo, Nepal (2011). He also published a Chinese translation of Gray Tuttle’s Tibetan Buddhists in the Making of Modern China (2012: Hong Kong Chinese University Press). He has been a visiting scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; at Duke University (At Duke he taught “Global Tibet: Tibet as Other”) in 2005–06; at Tribhuvan University, Nepal in 2007–08; at the Harvard-Yenching Institute, in 2012–13, and at the London School of Economics, 2015–16.
